Since last week I have come up with a couple of ideas on trying to get inspired and kind of change my perspective on life a little bit. (Hence the sunglasses picture, get it?) As I’ve grown up and gone through major life changes in the last year and a half of my life, I feel that I’ve lost so many bits and pieces of who I used to be, especially the joy I used to find in creating and just existing in the beauty of the world. I’m trying to pull a little bit from that past well of happiness I had within me and bring it into my current life. I have a lot more I want to say about this, so I think I’m going to do a whole separate post on it as well, but the purpose of this post is to introduce my first blog post series.
I’m going to start a series on my blog where I do a challenge every week to try and get back my creativity and happiness, and then report back in this online space. My challenge for this next week is going to be keeping a little journal that I will write in every morning as I’m starting my day.

- One thing I am looking forward to
- One thing I like about my personality
After doing this for a full 7 days, I will write a post on how it has affected my happiness, sanity and creativity and whether or not I will continue doing it, and then come up with another 7 day challenge! I’m actually quite excited to start doing these, it’s all stuff I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, just little fun challenges that help freshen up my days and brighten up the dark spaces of my mind, and this was the perfect excuse to start doing them.
