November happened!

Well, that’s a wrap on November and we are officially in full Christmas mode! This past month was a good one, in which we enjoyed the last few weeks of fall weather and were officially introduced to winter. This week we had a white Thanksgiving with tons of snow, and it’s still blanketing everything and making the world look like a wonderland and I can’t say I’m mad about it. (Mostly because I’ve hardly had to leave my house at all over the past three days). But it does look absolutely magical and the whiteness is making it that much easier to get into the Christmas spirit.

You may have noticed I didn’t do a monthly update post in October, and that was mainly because I didn’t feel like anything exciting really happened! Life lately has just consisted of a lot of work and school and not much else, but I did want to insert just a handful of pictures from this past month because there are some memories I really want to hold onto.

This month I had the opportunity to support my amazing friend as she prepares to leave on her mission.

Sister Lewis heads to Poland in just a few days!

I am so proud of my dear pal for getting to this point and for going to serve the people of Poland for 18 months! Love you Ashton ❤

Another thing I wanted to mention was that for the month of November I did my best to embrace my natural hair and did no-heat November. It was a fun challenge for me as I try not to use heat on my hair very often anyway, and I’ve found I really enjoy leaving my hair natural. I don’t have any good quality pictures but I’ll insert the dirty mirror pic I did take below.

The other thing I wanted to mention was Thanksgiving. The hubby and I had an amazing day spending time with both sides of our family and having two Thanksgiving dinners. It was so wonderful to see so many loved ones and spend time with the people in my life I’m the most grateful for! Also, we took the opportunity to take a cute picture ❤

I love my husband so much, and I’m so grateful for every minute we get to spend together in this crazy life of ours. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

And then of course, yesterday we decorated our cute little apartment for Christmas. Last year we started the tradition of decorating the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and I’m excited to carry it on for years to come.

Happy holidays everyone!
